TOC - OPERATIONS SERVICES - OVERVIEW

1/2 to 1 Day

This is designed to be a very introductory overview of the TOC production method – Drum-Buffer-Rope. Participants will learn what is wrong with the current mode of production and how the synchronized method of Drum-Buffer-Rope can maximize the amount and rate of throughput through the constraint.

TOC - OPERATIONS SERVICES - OPERATIONS LEADER

2 Days

Drum-Buffer-Rope is the TOC Solution for scheduling in a repetitive or job-shop manufacturing environments. During the two day course the Participants will learn what Drum-Buffer-Rope is, why it is needed, how to create a DBR Schedule and how DBR can work in the current business system. The classroom environment replicates a generic organization by the use of computer simulations to illustrate DBR concepts.

TOC - DISTRIBUTION - OVERVIEW

1/2 TO 1 Day

This is designed to be a very introductory overview of the TOC Distribution replenishment method. By first understanding the core conflict in holding either too much or not enough inventory, the participants learn how establishing a dynamic buffer management system helps avoid the cost of obsolescence and minimize the economic cost of lost sales.

TOC - DISTRIBUTION - OPERATIONS LEADER

2 Days

This class is designed to be a broad and general overview of Critical Chain Project Management which works to understand first what the current problems with projects are and why most are either late, over budget or come in with a more limited scope. The principles of critical chain will be taught along with a better understanding of how to effectively manage project buffers and avoid bad multi-tasking.

TOC - PROJECT MANAGEMENT - LEADER

2 Days

This program is for organizations looking to improve reliable delivery of projects while meeting budget, quality and original scope requirements. Utilizing a combination of exercises, interactive discussions and simulations, participants reach an understanding on the current problems within the multi-project environment. Participants then discover the few key changes that will significantly improve the performance of an organization.

TOC - SOLUTIONS FOR SALES - THE BUY IN PROCESS

1/2 TO 1 Day

In this very introductory sales and marketing program, participants learn how sales and marketing are different and the importance of crafting an unrefusable market offer and working through the layers of resistance in effectively closing complex sales.

TOC - MARKET OFFER - CREATING THE UNREFUSABLE OFFER

9 Days

In this more in-depth workshop, participants learn the process for creating an unrefusable mark
et offer, how to effectively gather undesirable effects in the marketplace and find opportunities that support extraordinary growth. An unrefusable offer does not sell itself so it is important to understand how the six layers of buy-in are needed to secure a complex sale. Given that all organizations and markets are different, this will be a very hands-on and interactive session where participants are enrolled in helping each other and in creating effective role-playing scenarios.

TOC - STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT - INTRODUCTION

8 Days

It’s time to get your arms around the problems and your hands on the answers! You’ll find out how to identify the leverage points that prevent your company from achieving the results you need and uncover inherent conflicts that, left unresolved, will continue to cripple your efforts for growth. This workshop creates alignment with the leadership team through first understanding how principles of engineering, production, distribution, sales and marketing must work together in a synchronized way to produce an ambitious result. By understanding the current reality of the company’s position and by crafting the future reality, we are able to determine the steps necessary to produce extraordinary results.

You will learn that, just by identifying a few key areas that are holding you back, you can create extraordinary results. The process will allow you to consider customer requirements and manufacturing, distribution, sales and marketing capabilities simultaneously, setting the stage for breakthroughs that can catapult you to the top of your marketplace.

TOC - FINANCE & MEASURES - OVERVIEW

1/2 TO 1 DAY

This is a very introductory workshop that teaches how finance and measures can often distort our current view of our organizations and often lead to decisions that do not serve the overall system well. The global operational measures of Throughput, Investment and Operating Expense are discussed and how these measures relate to Net Profit, Return on Investment and Cash flow.

TOC - MANAGEMENT EFFECTIVENESS - WORKSHOP

2 Days

The MEW consists of six valuable tools targeted at helping managers become better listeners, build confidence in themselves and others and create a foundation for significant personal growth. The MEW consists of six valuable tools targeted at improving communication skills, achieving ambitious targets, empower others and building teams. This is a hands-on workshop which makes role-play an integral part of the learning environment.
